Eating or breathing in plastic can cause one to fall ill as a result of toxins. [F1]

What are the symptoms?

These toxins can cause cancer. [F1] [F3] [F6] Hormonal effects, such as infertility and hermaphroditis, particularly more prevalent in male fish in the ocean. Intestinal obstructions of plastic can lead to death. [F2] Nanoscale particles can migrate through tissue and cell walls and can be embedded in the flesh. Inflammations of a chronic nature can develop, livers and kidneys can also accumulate the toxins. Nerve issues can be cause by phthalates, and they are toxic to the nerves and this neurotoxin can cross the blood-brain barrier and destroy the central nervous system. Any pathogens, vibrios, or microbes living in the particles can therefore find their way into the brain and cause permanent inflammation or meningitis as well neuritis. [F3] Diabetes and cancer are an increased risk with the upregulation of S100 protein due to phthalate exposure. [F3] Damage to the central nervous system can contribute to depression and dementia. [F3] PCBs entraped in plastic nano particles can cause chloracne, hair loss, hyperpigmentation, immune system damage, immune system poisoning, cancers of various kinds, Alzheimer’s disease, liver damage, Parkinson’s disease, malformations, affects physical, conscious and hormonal development of male foetuses and male children, promote infertility in men and male mammels, amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, causes hormone-related diseases and ailment, as well as feminisation. What are the causes?

Careless and thoughtless throwing away of waste in open countryside, roads, paths, fields, meadows, forests, sports fields, schoolyards or anywhere else, where the winds blow it away and rain washes it away into streams, rivers, lakes, freshwaters, and oceans and solar radiation breaks it down into micro and nano particles. Aquatic and terrestrial organisms absorb it and it then eaten by human beings and other creatures who then ingest the toxins. Plastic is the worst amongst the synthetic materials. These tiniest particles are inhaled by humans beings and cause damage to health. These plastics can come from household items, which end up in sewage plants, that clean the water, but not even enough to get the fine particles out, that also end up in streams and rivers, and washed into the seas and oceans. Over 40 million tonnes of plastics end up in the worlds ocean each year, which increases the more the population increases. [F1] Items that contribute to the problem are synthetic clothing, dishwashing sponges, shower foams, all sorts of consumer products, insulation, textile fibers, adhesives, packaging materials, and cosmetics. [F1] There are some plastics that can not break down with any current known microorganism. Certain plastic bottles, plastic ducks, or disposable diapers can take about 450 to 600 years to decompose. Plastic is biologically inert and therefore hardly subject to mineralisation. Microplastic particles are continuously reduced in size, they are not completely degraded. The breakdown of Microplastics also distribute other pollutants contained in the plastics, such as plasticizers and solvents, some of which have hormonal effects. The sea life in the ocean absorbs water repellent chemicals like a magnet and also causes poisoning of sea life. [F2] Many sea creatures have already died and continue to die from other toxic substances. Some areas contain more plastic particles than plankton. Most manufacturers of cosmetics and hygiene products contain tiny plastic beads. PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbdons) and PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls) are fat-soluble, which means they can diffuse through the cell walls and into muscles, and are not excreted from the stomach and intestines with the faeces. Plastic that drifts through the oceans can carry pathogens, and more specifically vibrios. One of these vibrios in this group is cholera, and the plastic pieces can be used to transfer cholera from place to place. Phthalates are toxic to the nerves. PCBs were replaced with phthalates in the 1990s. The pathogens, microbes, and vibrios may increase as the trashed oceans increase in temperature and acidity due to CO2. [F3] Phthalates can upregulate marker S100 protein DNA expression. [F3] PVC, dioxins, and azo dyes, i.e. isoxazole azo dyes, organochlorine have toxicities during decay. [F3] While not a treatment, antioxidants can slow down the harmful degradation of products. [F3] One such antioxidant, called Ethoxyquin developed by chemical companies as an antiaging agent for rubber and other plastics has been increasing in usage for animal feeds as well, which inhibit rancidity of fats and the breakdown of vitamins, however, Ethoxyquin and is degradation product Ethoxyquin dimer are not water-soluble, and are lipophilic. They have been used in fish food for fish farms, eaten by the fish, and stored in their fats. These substances have accumulated in human fatty tissue through fish consumption, and have been found in breast milk and in the brain, and is considered a probable carcinogen. These substances have also been found to break down fatty nerve sheaths in the brain in animal experiments, which lead to cognitive decline and dementia. [F3] Ethoxyquin and Ethoxyquin dimer impede cell division and cell renewal and negatively affect the immune system and can damage the DNA even in small quantities. [F3] Other plastics found in the environment include PP (Polypropylene), PE (Polyethylene), and EPS (Expanded polystyrene), and in approximately 50% of sand samples, plastic cellulose acetate has been found. [F4] Pollution thrown into bodies of water, fields, gardens, roads, paths, meadows and forest contribute their dangerous part in destroying the health of human beings and have exceeded harmless levels. [F4] Plastic has the property of binding PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), which are toxic cancer causing organic chlorine compounts that are released in bodies of water and the atmosphere due to carelessness and irresponsibility. PCBs still exist in the soil and water that were released since about 1929. PCBs were used in hydraulic systems, hydraulic fluid, electrical capacitors, fluorescent lamps and fluorescent tubs, transformers, washing machines, spin dryers, capacitor motors, reactive power control relay systems, plasticizers in sealants, plasticizers in insulators, and plasticizers in paints, etc. These can also be absorbed by lifeforms via skin contact. These PCBs have serious consequenced due to the integration into microplastics and nanoplastics. PCBs have leaked from capacitors due to mechanical destruction or decomposition processes and contaminate the environment. Chlorodiphenyl from insulating oils are also absorbed directly through skin contact and is absorbed through the pores. [F4] Plastic particles absort many different poisons like magnets. [F6] There are many fine plastic particles in the air, water, meadows, forest, and every possible and impossible places. It is so fine as dust, and not perceived by human beings, which get into the lungs and intestines through inhalation and gets into the brain and impairs its function. [F7]

 

What are the treatments or remedies?

Without PAHs, PCBs and other organochlorines, pathogens, vibrios, and microbes would not cross the blood-brain barrier. [F3] A birth stop and reduction in the earth’s population would result in a rapid reduction of all emissions, with fewer cars, ships, planes, less resource consumption and would eliminate enormous amounts of emissions such as the billions of tons of waste synthetic materials and plastics as well as other waste. [F3] If one burns materials for gardening purpose, one must take care that the plastic adhesive stickers are removed from untreated cardboard so that they do not damage the quality of the ash. [F4] Advancements in the detection of plastic nanoparticles and other in depth methods of analysis are required in order to have a better understanding of the problem. Contraindications:

Ethoxyquin mixed into plastics and synthetic rubbers, as well as animal feed. [F3] PCBs mix with microplastics and nanoplastics and bioaccumulate in the food chain. [F4]

Summation:

Plastics are mainly produced synthetically from unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds, along with natural gas and coal, and also produced with a mixture of solids by modifying natural polymers. [F3]
